Hi! I’m Divyya (2 y’s). I think the best strategy comes from taking the weird idea seriously enough that it stops being weird and starts being undeniable. I love to start with an absurd premise and follow inspiration until it leads me to a place that actually makes you feel something.

I won a D&AD New Blood Wood Pencil for a solo submission about a satirical omakase campaign about microplastic consumption called Mikuro because I was haunted by the fact that the average person consumes a credit card’s worth of plastic every week. Before Brandcenter, I led the Bay Area chapter of the American India Foundation, where I helped raise $60K for community programs and supported a national campaign that facilitated 2 million COVID vaccinations.

I’m a terrible stand-up because I can’t tell my own punchlines without laughing. There’s a rumor that the CIA scouted me in elementary school for my parapsychic abilities. I have no inner monologue (I thought characters were just narrating their thoughts for the reader’s benefit until very recently. What are you guys even talking about all the time???). I have to set aside a monthly budget for my Ultra Strawberry Dreams Monster consumption. My life motto is “Words of Wisdumb”.
