Ever since I was a baby I was always on the move. Walking and crawling everywhere I should and shouldn’t go. Once I started talking, I was always asking questions. I’m pretty sure my first word was “why” much to my parents' chagrin. That desire to keep growing and learning never disappeared, if anything it grew even stronger as I got older. 

I was never one to sit still and wait for something to fall in my lap. When I started college, I went to a university less than an hour from my hometown but quickly got bored so I transferred to a bigger one. After getting my degree, I found there weren’t many opportunities for me in Indiana so I moved over 600 miles away to Richmond and started Brandcenter. 

Since moving here, I really got to explore and grow as a person. I started taking improv classes to improve my confidence and public speaking skills and took some art classes over the summer. I love that I am being pushed, both in the classroom and outside of it, to be more outgoing and self-assured. I truly do believe curiosity is one of the best traits someone can have and that sometimes, if you’re not careful, comfort can turn into complacency.
